Episcopal Church Women - ECW

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) consists of all the women of St. Philip’s. All are welcome to our quarterly general meetings. We work, pray and give for the spread of God’s Kingdom through our activities of the Shop of St. Philip’s, Care Committee, and Seaman’s Church Institute listed below, as well as through our outreach to the community and the world.

ECW - United Thank Offering

The United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of the Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through UTO individuals are invited to embrace and deepen a personal daily spiritual discipline of gratitude and to make an offering for each blessing using a UTO Blue Box. 100% of what is collected supports the innovative mission and ministry throughout The Episcopal Church and Provinces of the Anglican Communion. Volunteer needs are material distribution, parish education and annual campaign promotion.

ECW Care Committee of ECW

The Care Committee provides a reception in Miller Hall, for the bereaved family members and friends prior to or following a funeral or memorial service. Committee members are called on a rotating basis to bake cookies or make sandwiches; to help set up before, serve during, and clean up after each reception. Volunteers are always welcome and needed to help with this ministry that is greatly appreciated by the family.
