ST. PHILIP'S INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

If a snowstorm is predicted for our area Saturday night/Sunday morning, please keep a close eye to see whether we implement our Inclement Weather plan!

For Sunday worship and other events, check our St. Philip’s website, Facebook, and look for an e-mail blast, or check the phone message at 828-884-3666.

If there will be any change in the regular schedule due to inclement weather, our media will reflect those changes by 7:00 a.m. on Sunday. If the policy is put into effect, Sunday worship services and other events will be canceled EXCEPT for a 10:30 a.m. spoken liturgy on Facebook Live, which will always take place.

On weekdays, our inclement weather policy will follow the Transylvania County Schools. If school is closed or there is an early dismissal due to severe weather, all church events may be canceled. (If in doubt, check with the leader of the group or event in question.)

Even though in-person events may be cancelled, meetings may be re-scheduled on Zoom and staff may be working from home and available for questions.

Shop of St. Philip's Inclement Weather Policy:

If the county schools are closed, the Shop will be closed. If the schools have a two-hour delay, the Shop will try to open at 10:00 as usual if roads are clear. Check our Facebook page for announcements.
