A joyful, generous & welcoming faith community
Hello, and welcome to St. Philip’s!I hope that as you explore our website, you will discover that we are a very intentionally welcoming and inclusive congregation. One of the hallmarks of the Episcopal Church, here in Brevard and around the world, is that we have ample room for a very broad spectrum of spiritual journeys and points of view. We ask at least as many questions as we answer, and invite everyone to engage in thoughtful and respectful discussion. And TOGETHER we focus on supporting and nurturing the faith journey of all who pass through our red door. Perhaps most importantly, our church extends well beyond its stone walls. We take very seriously our mission as Christians to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, in thought, word and deed, throughout this community and beyond. Like our congregation, our worship is diverse. If you visit, I hope that among our services and fellowship gatherings you will find something that particularly appeals to you and your family. As the rector of St. Philip’s, I’d be delighted to talk with you here at church, or to meet with you in your home or somewhere in between, to hear about your hopes and dreams and explore with you how St. Philip’s might help you fulfill them.
St. Philip’s has given me a larger group to belong to in Brevard. Worship services are so beautiful, but I really love being involved with groups of all kinds that are making a difference in the world. We have so many outreach programs in our community, and so many active volunteers. It’s a joy to be a part of it all.

St. Philip’s gives me the opportunity to be involved not only with religious experiences, but also with the community at large. Love thy neighbor as thyself is practiced here
St. Philip’s is my church home. It has guided my spiritual journey, cared for our family during the difficult times, and reached out to the community to make life easier. We know how to laugh together and cry together.
St. Philip’s is more than a beautiful building. I have found here my spiritual and social home in life’s journey to inner peace and tranquility.
