What are YOU seeking?

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry invites you to learn about "a way of love that is grounded in compassion and goodness and justice and forgiveness." Click here to read about "The Jesus Movement".

Are you looking for a diverse community where you and your loved ones will feel not just accepted, but EMBRACED? If so, you've found the right place!

Even if you know little about the Episcopal faith, we invite you to TRY US OUT. Attend a service. Or just come for coffee and great conversation with thoughtful and engaging people. Check out the Feed Your Faith and Feel the Fellowship pages on the website for detailed information about our religious education programs and ongoing social events.

When you get right down to it, what really matters is becoming part of a COMMUNITY – not so much of like-minded souls, but of folks who seek to LIVE their values, SHARE their gifts, and BE FULLY PRESENT with one another.

And that's what you'll find here at St. Philip's. We welcome you to experience it for yourself! Click here for information about membership.

St. Philip’s is a place where I can have liturgical, sacramental worship combined with community and openness and a sense of belonging. It’s also a place where I can share and learn from others freely and without judgment.
— Denis Bolena
The church is made up of members who are willing to search for new ideas and to accept people of diverse backgrounds, and yet honor the tradition and historical nature of the Episcopal church.
— Harvey
St. Philip’s has given me a place of belonging since I first walked in the door. The people are my adopted family. As a lifelong Episcopalian, I have been a member of several churches in various locations. This is the warmest congregation I’ve ever encountered.
— Billie

Our Services

SUNDAY

7:45 AM   |    8:30 AM (Summer)
A great way to begin your day, our early morning Rite 1 service provides all you need, including the Holy Eucharist (Communion). Rooted in the older form of Elizabethan language (think, "thee" and "thou"), and without music or singing, this is a concise, quiet, yet meaningful service.

9:00 AM   |   (Suspended in Summer)
Our family-oriented Rite 2 (Rite 1 during summer) service reflects the contemporary theology and language of the revised Book of Common Prayer and communion. While maintaining tradition and featuring the Hosannah Singers, the atmosphere during the 9:00 AM service is a bit more relaxed and thus tends to be very comfortable for families with younger children. Of course, children of ALL ages are welcome at any service.

11:15  AM (Fall/Winter/Spring)   |   10:30 AM (Summer)
If you prefer a classic, high church experience, the 11:15 AM (Fall/Winter/Spring) is the service for you. Enhanced with beautiful organ music and the voices of our full Chancel Choir, the late-morning Rite 2 service offers worship, prayer and communion. The 10:30 AM (Summer) Rite 2 service also offers worship, prayer and communion and will honor the customary musical traditions of both our seasonal 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM services.

Our church, chapel, and community hall all are handicap-accessible. In the Episcopal church, we believe that all Christians, including children, are welcome to share at God's table. You may also request a blessing at the altar rail instead of receiving communion.

The beautiful oil painting of St. Philip's was done by artist Sarah Sneeden and is used here with her generous permission.
